# Coverage

> What every watchlist tracks for its securities, with no setup.

Every [watchlist](/platform-guide/watchlists/introduction) tracks five things for the securities on it. There is nothing to switch on: add a CUSIP and it is covered from that point. The **Coverage** pane on the watchlist detail page links to a page for each one.

## Document Publications

A row every time a new disclosure is published for any entity on the watchlist, with the entity, filing date, document type, filing type and a link to the document. Rows you haven't seen yet are marked with a green dot, and a **+N** badge on the Coverage pane counts them.

Each of these filings also gets an **AI-generated summary** with key takeaways and an overall sentiment. To read it, open the same filing in [Surveillance](/platform-guide/surveillance), where you can also set a priority, mark it completed, or open a [Deep Dive session](/platform-guide/deep-dive/introduction) scoped to that disclosure.

## Moody's Ratings

Rating actions from Moody's for the securities on the watchlist.

## S\&P Ratings

Rating actions from S\&P: upgrades, downgrades, new ratings and withdrawals, each with the rating it landed on, the prior rating, CreditWatch, outlook and the date it took effect.

## Price Updates

An entry each time a bond on the watchlist trades. Useful when you want a heads-up on activity instead of waiting to spot it in the daily flow.

## Tear Sheets

Any [tear sheets](/platform-guide/tear-sheets) generated for this watchlist. Unlike the four above, tear sheets are not discovered automatically: you write the instructions and run them from the Tear Sheets workspace. The Coverage entry is a shortcut into it.

## How often it updates

The platform sweeps every watchlist every ten minutes for anything new, with a full sweep once a day to catch changes the incremental pass cannot see. Nothing needs re-triggering.

## Where output shows up

In three places:

* **The watchlist detail page**, one page per coverage type, newest first.
* **[Surveillance](/platform-guide/surveillance)**, the cross-watchlist feed, with filters by watchlist, entity, type, period and status.
* **The bell** in the header, for activity that finishes while you're in the app.
